The world has always been divided. First it was the Romans and Greeks, battling it out on arms, literature, governance, and philosophy. Then came the era of colonialism, the Spaniards, Brits, French, and Dutch, all racing around the world harboring resources. A few years later it was Democracy vs. Communism, and the World joined a team and went on to follow their champion nation. Today the World is at a cross-roads. After the failure of Liberal Democracies in battling Covid the World sought changes in leadership styles. Populism became the new trend, and multilateral forums were devalued. The World is unsure of what is right or what is wrong. However, the world is certain of two things, firstly its hatred for anything different, and secondly falsified freedoms.
To give a plain example, in the 1970s the great Boxing Champion Muhammad Ali went toe to toe with an American boxer named Chuck Wepner. Chuck had a bad habit of continuously hitting the back of the head of Ali. Muhammad Ali looked at the referee and asked him to do something, to which the referee said he didn’t see anything. When this happened twice, Ali retaliated and gave a few good smacks on the back of the head of Wepner. The commentators, the cameramen, the referee, the judges, the whole lot was astounded by this. Words were taking place on the side of the ring, whether to penalize or discipline Ali. Ali looked at the referee every time Wepner repeated the foul, but was only penalized when Ali himself retaliated. If you don’t understand where this reference is going, here is an even deeper and simplified version:
A Black Muslim who was surely to defeat a White man, was being fouled continuously without reaction. However, when the Black Muslim did the exact same thing, he made headlines of foul play.
If that wasn’t enough to understand this tone, a word would do: hypocrisy.
The White nationals have been known to be a hypocritical race of individuals. This belief in their own self-imposed superiority is the root of colonialism, and racism. If they were to strike and end all, it was their right for a greater cause. However, if you were to do the same and were not part of the club, you were a terrorist, a murderer, a lunatic, a hooligan, and so on.
Michael Holding in an interview once said, that when Wasim Akram and Waqar Younus (Pakistani Reverse Swing Bowlers) used to do their unique plays and magic on the field, the British were planning on changing the rules of the game and called these two individuals Devil Worshipper s on every tabloid. However, the day Flintoff learnt the technique and executed it himself, he was lauded
as a National Champion.
The concept is clear; if you are white, that too non-Russian, preferably British or American, then you can do whatever you want. God forbid you belonged to anything else, a slightest error is enough to ruin your life.
