Since the beginning of the war on terror, Pakistan has been at the crossroads of picking an alliance that resonates with its foreign policy, under pressure it failed to find a lobby to support fully. India was clear in its mission to continue its growth economically and diplomatically within the region, regardless of the issues that surrounded its borders. However, perspectives were set forth, and Trudeau’s declaration in Parliament has brought to life a hidden perspective that was ignored.

India blames Pakistan for terrorist activities that take place continuously within the region of the Sub-Continent and Afghanistan. Claiming that Pakistan has sponsored terrorism that spread like wildfire within the region. Pakistan responded with the Indian lockdown of Jammu Kashmir and the continuous sponsored insurgency within Baluchistan. Capturing Kalboshan Yadav proved the sentiment when he was found fleeing via a route within Kashmir valley in the Pakistani region.

After the killing of a Sikh separatist in Canada, and news of another murder in Amritsar of prominent Sikh separatist leaders, who vouch for a greater Punjab – The Khalistan Movement, the Pakistani perspective gains ground. The West has remained silent on the matter, as India plays the perfect role as the counter-weight to the growth of Chinese influence within the region. Pakistan morally supports the Khalistan movement, whereby the Sikhs should not be mistreated within the region, but takes no extra steps, diplomatically favorable one would say. India is against the separatist regime due to its reminiscence of 1947 and the wildfire this would bring within every province within Greater India. Pakistan is blamed for supporting the Sikh movement as a payback for Dhakka of 1971, however without any material support towards the Sikhs, this is now observed as a human rights approach towards the groups.

Pakistan brought to the world stage the sponsored and espionage acts of India, both in Baluchistan and Kashmir. However, the world remained silent and did not believe this to be true. Pakistan had gone further by stating that terrorists have been sponsored in the region by India too. The moment when in Canada, where the Prime Minister announced the work of an intelligence officer from India that had carried out a murder of a Canadian, has now shifted, ever so slightly, towards questioning the activities of agencies internationally by Indian Intelligence and the motives of their superiors.
